Marginal costs in the European Antitrust Law
Meaning of Marginal costs provided by the “Glossary of terms used in EU competition policy” (European Commission. Directorate-General for Competition. Luxembourg: Office for Official Publications of the European Communities, cop. 2002): Costs born by a firm of producing an additional unit of output. Marginal costs are a function of variable costs only, since fixed costs do not vary with output.
